CLEARWATER, Fla. – Perma-Liner™ Industries, LLC. This product was created, designed and manufactured in the U.S. and offers ultimate fiber optic protection.

The 360 degree edge protection of this MEP also helps prevent against cuts and bruises to personnel going in and out of the manhole.”
In addition to the safety aspects, Perma-Liner’s Manhole Edge Protector is produced using high quality ABS 3/16 plastic. The plastic is highly durable and withstands temperatures from -40 – 180 degrees Fahrenheit, or -40.000 to 82.222 degrees Celsius. The Manhole Edge Protector’s material also includes UV protection, which reduces product fading in extreme exposures, and provides thermal protection to employees and their equipment.
With its 360-degree edge protection, it eliminates the top-edge roller and top-side tiger tail that have a tendency to allow the cable to slip off the roller and ultimately halt operations. A top flange went into the design in an effort to eliminate objects and/or equipment from slipping into the manhole. The additional interior 3.5 inch flange holds back debris and any loose infrastructure from falling into the manhole possibly causing injury to personnel or damage to equipment. Perma-Liner’s Manhole Edge Protector leaves the manhole completely open allowing for accessibility and visibility while also protecting the camera and jetter lines.
