West Florida’s First Dual-Branded Hilton Hotel will Open in Spring 2019
Tampa, Florida – January 3, 2019 – Liberty Group has appointed Stacy Royalty as General Manager and Kimberly Merilus-Arrigo as Director of Sales for the new Hampton by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton dual-branded hotel in downtown Tampa.
As General Manager, Ms. Royalty will be in charge of directing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services and satisfaction, hotel administration, and overseeing marketing efforts.

Prior to joining the Hampton/Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown, Ms. Royalty was the General Manager for the Hampton by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton hotels in Sarasota.
As Director of Sales, Merilus-Arrigo will be in charge of building relationships and assessing the needs of local businesses, working with the General Manager to facilitate marketing efforts, and overseeing sales efforts that ensure the success of the hotel.

Prior to joining Hampton/Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown, Merilus-Arrigo was the Director of Sales for Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa/USF/Busch Gardens.
The dual-branded Hampton by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton in Downtown Tampa is located at 1155 East Kennedy Boulevard in the heart of the Channel District, within walking distance of the new USF Health building, Water Street, Amalie Arena, Tampa History Museum, and Port Tampa Bay.
The mixed-use project will be Hilton’s first purpose-built dual-branded hotel in West Florida and will include a retail Starbucks Coffee store. The hotel will feature 213 guestrooms and extended-stay suites, and large communal spaces and amenities such as mobile check-in, a social media wall, and Tesla destination-charging stations. Additional features include a Precor-equipped fitness facility, outdoor rooftop pool, flexible meeting space, 24-hour business center, and 200-vehicle parking garage.
