ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR) has major business developments in line for 2019. By the end of Q2, the company will expand into a larger and newly refurbished office space. The additional space will be on the west side of the Baypoint Commerce Center building located at 9400 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida. They also plan on expanding employee count from 43 to over 80 by the end of the year.
The new office space is adjacent to USFCR’s current location in the same building. This space previously housed a branch of TD Bank. It is a 2,700 square foot space that will allow for more space for the growing business and new staff members.
This new space coincides with USFCR’s plan to nearly double its workforce by the end of the year. Primarily, the firm plans on expanding its bid training department. The purpose of this department is to prepare government contractors for submitting competitive proposals for solicitations issued by federal agencies. The expansion of this department as well as the others is to meet the demands of clients now and in the future.
USFCR is looking for individuals who are creative and out-of-the-box thinkers. They need to be able to work with a limited structure as well as have experience training clients. Their duties will include handling bid training, refining the training process, and creating a curriculum.
New members of USFCRs bid training program will also participate in the MasterMinds webinars as well as their live YouTube sessions. MasterMinds is a private Facebook group that is moderated by USFCR. It is a space for contractors to network, team-up, and search for primes or subcontractors. Every Wednesday at 2 pm, USFCR President Dan Driscoll and Training Coordinator Anna Rose host an exclusive live webinar.
Other positions USFCR is looking to fill include:
