Would you like to expand your wardrobe without breaking the bank and help other women in the process? At Dress for Success Tampa Bay’s semi-annual Inventory Reduction Sale from Friday, February 22 to Saturday, February 23, you’ll find high-end clothes at discount prices, with all proceeds going back to the nonprofit organization.
“The Dress for Success inventory sale is a fun event that brings our community together. It’s a win-win for everyone involved! When you buy a designer outfit from our racks, you spend less and the proceeds from the sale go to the purchase of the larger size shoes and clothing that we need,“ said Executive Director Katie McGill.
The Inventory Reduction Sale will be held at Bayshore Baptist Church at 3111 W. Morrison Ave. in South Tampa. Hours are Friday, February 22, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, February 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cash is preferred, but credit cards are accepted with $25+ purchases. All sales are final, and no children are allowed.
Shari Leiterman, a shopper at a past inventory reduction sale, said, “I went to the Dress for Success Inventory Sale and was very impressed with the layout. I purchased attire that is very beautiful, tailored looking, and professional. Every time I wear one of the outfits I bought, I always get compliments about how great and professional I look. I was treated very professionally in a fun and supportive environment. It was an amazing experience.”
Sale proceeds will allow the organization to purchase much needed plus-size business attire and larger-size shoes as well as to help with boutique expenses. With only three employees and many volunteers, Dress for Success Tampa Bay relies on grants, donations, and fundraising events to continue offering services locally. The nonprofit assisted more than 2,000 women during 2018.
Dress for Success Tampa Bay helps women return to the workplace and become economically independent.
