ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Older residents of St. Petersburg will have the opportunity to learn about products and services to keep them healthy in 2019 during a wellness event.
The health fair will take place on Feb. 16 at the Magnolia Auditorium in Five Towns, a 55+ Retirement Condo Community, located at 7950 58th Ave. N in St Petersburg. Smart Healthy Living is organizing the event along with support from sponsors. C-Diff Foundation and A Path to Wellness, A&B Insurance/ Florida Blue, Florida Dermatology, Live Better Healthy Medical and Dental Center and Jaqua Chiropractic have agreed to sponsor the event. In addition to the sponsors, health and wellness vendors will provide information on natural home and health products, food and nutrition, fitness, massage, yoga, essential oils, weight loss, home health care, chiropractic care, acupuncture care, health coaching, medical& dental clinic needs, insurance, long-term care needs, and many more.
Participants will be able to have free health screenings, see demonstrations of products, receive door prizes and have fun.
“I believe a whole, healthy lifestyle is important for older people who want to live longer and stronger, but young people who start living healthy early would benefit too,” said Sara Im, president of Smart Healthy Living.
The health fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to Five Towns residents and nonresidents. Participants will not have to pay an entrance fee.
