National Signing Day at Clearwater Academy International
Clearwater, FL— With only 3 seasons of 11-man football in the books the Clearwater Academy Knights have gained national attention with many top Division 1 schools.
Last December, three Clearwater Academy Knights committed to Division 1 schools at the Early National Signing Day. This week, on Wednesday, February 6th, there will be three more Knights signing with Division 1 schools. That is a total of 6 Division 1 scholarships for the Clearwater Academy Knights Class of 2019.
Graduating seniors Lamine Koanda, Jabril Muhammad and Dimitrios Gkountoudis will sign their letters of intent for their Division 1 offers. Lamine, an international student from Italy, finished his second season with the Knights. Dimitrios also finished his second year as a Knight, he came to Clearwater Academy from Germany. Jabril, from St. Pete, Florida, is another Knights veteran; he joined the Knights for the 2017 season and will become another Knight continuing his football career in college.
As an international school, Clearwater Academy is excited that these students are able to continue their studies into college as well as fulfilling their dreams of playing college football.
On National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 6, 2019, all 3 players will sign their letters of intent, thereby officially accepting one of the athletic scholarships that have been offered to them.
The signing will take place at the Clearwater Academy Campus in downtown Clearwater at
11:00 a.m.
