Only 20 Percent of Tech Jobs in the U.S. Are Held by Women. But PowerChord is Breaking the Pattern With a Staff that is 43 Percent Female
PowerChord’s Chief Executive Officer, Lanny Tucker, announced today the designation of Nikki Vegenski as Vice President of Marketing and Strategy. In her new role, Vegenski will be the first female Vice President at the St. Petersburg-based tech company.
Nikki Vegenski has spent the last decade helping her clients’ brand-to-local digital strategies come to life. She started at PowerChord in 2009 as a Digital Account Manager and successfully navigated different opportunities within the company, most recently serving as Director of Strategic Accounts over the past three years.
In making the announcement, Tucker noted Vegenski’s long standing service to both PowerChord and its clientele.
“As PowerChord’s new Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, we believe her understanding of each client’s long-term vision paired with her digital marketing expertise will strengthen the strategic local guidance across current and future customer adoptions of PowerChord’s SaaS and digital marketing solutions,” said Tucker.
Vegenski completed her undergraduate work at Florida State University (2006), followed by utilizing PowerChord’s tuition assistance program to obtain her Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University (2015) where she earned the Advanced Achievement Course Director’s Award.
“Her greatest strengths are her integrity, drive, and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand both our company’s and clients’ reach,” said Tucker. “As the Vice President, she will continue focusing on sales growth, client retention, and the formulation and nurturing of ambitious local digital solutions that help our customers conquer the online ecosystem.”
