Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum art auction to benefit college-bound St. Petersburg youth

All proceeds from the upcoming March 9, 2019 auction of nineteen oil paintings by local artist Jane Bunker will be awarded by the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum to selected college-bound youth.

The paintings will be displayed at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg February 4-28, 2019 courtesy of the Galleria Misto.

Jane Bunker holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph. D. from Stanford University; her work is in numerous private collections nationwide; in 2013 she was the subject of a one-woman show at the New Britain (CT) Museum of American Art. See Youtube / Illlumination by Jane Bunker
