TAMPA BAY — The Central Pinellas Chamber Commerce has announced that political analyst Susan MacManus PhD will return as a panelist at its Focus on 2019: A Tampa Bay Economic Forecast program. It takes place on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, 1160 Gulf Boulevard, Clearwater.
For the last 30 years, Dr. MacManus, a USF Distinguished Professor Emerita, has been a fixture in Florida politics. She’s had a front row seat to some of the most significant political events in the state’s history.
Through her career, she has taken part in thousands of media interviews for regional, national and international publications. Her analysis has been published by the New York Times, CNN, Fox News and countless others. She retired from USF in May 2018.
This is the 12th year of the Chamber’s Focus program. Other featured panelists include economist Sean Snaith, Ph.D., University of Central Florida; Danny Rice, managing director and market leader at Colliers International; and Rick Homans, president and CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership.
