
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is partnering with the Film and Entertainment office of the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County to offer a two-day seminar on pitching creative projects to film industry representatives. “Pitch Strong” will be offered Jan. 20 and 21 at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway E. The cost of the program is $199.
The event will include five workshops focusing on creative project pitching led by television and movie producers, as well as casting directors and script writers, including Brendan Walsh, Bradley Ross and Meghan Rafferty. Also included is a networking reception on Sunday and a pitch judging competition with prizes on Monday. A discount is available to members of a creative industry professional association or students of digital cinema programs in the region.
