Ian Black Real Estate, Sarasota’s premier commercial real estate brokerage firm, has hired two new employees. Zoë Carvel joins the firm as sales associate, and Katie Hawkins joins as director of marketing.
“We are very pleased to have these two talented professionals join our firm,” said Ian Black, partner and founder of Ian Black Real Estate. “We have a unique environment of sharing and collaboration among our team, and we look forward to what Zoë and Katie will bring to the table.”
Prior to joining Ian Black, Carvel was a realtor at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in South Florida. Before that, she worked at United Talent Agency, a top talent agency in Los Angeles. “I’m excited and honored to join such a talented team of professionals,” said Carvel. “I look forward to being a part of the Sarasota community and building on the great reputation of Ian Black Real Estate.”
As director of marketing, Hawkins will promote the firm and its property listings. Prior to joining Ian Black, she was a graphic designer at Quicken Loans. She brings several years of graphic design and marketing experience, as well as a Graphic Arts Certification from Specs Howard School of Media Arts, to her new role.
“I am looking forward to bringing our commercial real estate marketing to the next level,” said Hawkins. “My goal is to dive into our social media networking while using graphic design and video content to expand our growth and increase community awareness. The strength of our brand is one of the most important aspects to our success, and I am ready to make 2019 our strongest year yet.”
