MUSE will celebrate artistic inspiration on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. The sixth annual benefit for the arts will recognize the breadth and beauty of art and culture in our City of the Arts, and pay tribute to those that continue to inspire and guide St. Petersburg to its standing as an international arts destination. Proceeds will benefit artists, arts education, and arts & cultural organizations through our Arts Alliance programs and services. Jennifer Lovelady and her family have incorporated art in their professional and personal lives. They started collecting local art in the mid nineties. They support local artists including Chad Mize, Bask, Frank Strunk, Andrea Pawlisz, Tes One, Bekky Beukes, Ya La’ford. Jenn is Director of Community & Cultural Affairs at Great Bay Distributors. She has commissioned many indoor murals, which along with other fine artists works have transformed the building into a contemporary art gallery. She has engaged Palehorse to come up with the Grayspeed logo and also hired Chad Mize to do a mural at Grayspeed Cycles. Jenn has been a financial supporter of the SHINE Mural Festival since day one, helping found the festival that brings attention to St. Petersburg from around the world. Jenn sits on the board of freeFall Theatre and the city’s Arts Advisory Committee. She has supported arts organizations including SPAA, the Morean Arts Center, Creative Clay, Warehouse Arts District Association and Florida CraftArt. Jenn follows in the footsteps of her grandparents and father in her support of the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg; in fact her grandfather and her father sat on the board.
