One City Chorus in Concert
with special guest Roy Zimmerman
Sunday, February 17th at 4:00 PM
The Palladium Theater
453 5th Ave. North, St. Petersburg
The 140-voice One City Chorus returns to St. Pete’s Palladium Theater with their timely blend of songs about social justice, civil rights, diversity and equality. Their performances have been described as “joyous, uplifting and beautifully sung” by Creative Loafing who honored them with a Best of the Bay Award for “Best Voices Raised Together in Song.” They were founded in October 2016 by their conductor Jon Arterton with the belief that singing in a group builds community and leads to better understanding among people. It welcomes people of all races, cultures, creeds and communities to sing with them – all without auditions! They will be joined this year by California’s singing satirist Roy Zimmerman who has toured the country for 30 years and released 10 albums, and whose humorous videos have been viewed tens of millions of times on social media. This is a concert not to be missed!
