Historic Hernando Preservation presents talk on Antiques in Interior Design

Historic Hernando Preservation Society will present  a program on Antiques and Interior Design led by Roger Carlton Sherman on Thursday, January 3 at 6.30 pm in the Brooksville City Hall council chambers. Roger is a retired member of ASID and was CEO of the Design Marketing Corp which operated throughout Florida as Wellington Hall.   He currently lives in rural Hernando County in a Georgian style “living house museum”   The Program will feature a power  point presentation with examples of furnishing from Chippendale and Louis XV to the era of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Admission is free, and the audience will be invited to pose questions concerning their own interior design issues. A drawing will beheld to determine a lucky winner of a decorative collectible from Roger’s personal collection.  The book “Dining with Dukes”, the Mary Moses biography of Roger will be available in limited numbers, the sales of which will support the Historic Marker program for Hernando County.
