About ARM  Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) is the nation’s leading collaborative in robotics and workforce innovation. Structured as a public-private partnership, ARM accelerates the advancement of transformative robotic technologies and education to increase U.S. global manufacturing competitiveness.

About AMRoC Fab Lab
The Tampa Bay Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics Center (AMRoC) Fab Lab, a program of the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation (FFCDI.org), aims to bridge the manufacturing and industry talent gap through robust project-based engineering education and training.  We’re happy to announce that AMRoC has a permanent home at University Mall, near the University of South Florida, as part of the new mixed use, city center redevelopment plans for the Mall.

At AMRoC, people of all ages will explore science, technology, engineering, manufacturing and related education and career training and certification opportunities, with access to tools like CNC machines, laser cutters, 3D printers, hand and power tools, and more. Youth in FIRST robotics teams and other STEM competition programs can design, build, practice and meet at AMRoC Fab Lab and local entrepreneurs can access rapid prototyping and small scale manufacturing.

FCDI is a member of ARM, Urban Manufacturing Alliance, DigiFab Alliance, and the Fab Lab Network.
