Lakeland, FL: Advance members of the United States Navy Blue Angels will roar into Lakeland, Florida on Tuesday, December 11th at 3:00pm ET to meet with SUN ‘n FUN officials and begin preparations for their performances during the 2019 SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In and Expo. Upon their highly anticipated arrival, the pilots and support team will be greeted by a crowd of high school students from The Lakeland Aero Club and the Central Florida Aerospace Academy, both of which are part of the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE). A press conference will be held planeside, and photo opportunities with both the Blue Angels and the students will be available. SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In extends an invitation to members of the press for this rare opportunity to meet with the Blue Angels on the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus as they meet our local students and share their mission and plans for an action-packed 2019 air show season.
