WWE Superstar, Global Leaders Including ESPN and Walmart, to Pack Toys for Tampa-area Children at One More Child Event

December 6, 2018 by Post

(LAKELAND, FL) – WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil is working with One More Child, Walmart, ESPN and a bevy of other non-profits and businesses to body slam hopelessness in Tampa this Christmas, and we want to invite you to get an inside look at what community partnership at its best looks like at a Joy of Giving packing party on Dec. 13.

One More Child is hosting a Joy of Giving packing party from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in its Harold Clark Simmons Compassion Center on its Lakeland campus, located at 1015 Sikes Blvd.

At the event, more than 10,000 gifts will be packed by CEOs and leaders of non-profits, businesses and retailers, for the Joy of Giving celebration that will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Dec. 22.

The Joy of Giving is hosted by O’Neil, who will be at the packing party, and whose foundation, the Bullard Family Foundation, has held the Joy of Giving annually for the past nine years. Media are invited to come to the packing party, where interviews and photo and video opportunities will be made available.

The toys will be packed onto trucks operated by Stepp’s Towing which will deliver the toys to Raymond James Stadium. The gifts will also be featured during ESPN’s telecast of the Gasparilla Bowl at Raymond James Stadium on Dec. 20, where the USF Bulls will take on the Marshall Thundering Herd at 8 p.m.

One More Child will be streaming some of the event live on its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/onemorechildsince1904.

One More Child provides Christ-centered services to children and families at more than 50 locations locally, including in Tampa through its HopeStreet programs.
