“Boosting Your Bottom Line Through Networking in a Digital World” is the focus of a free Success Strategies for Business Owners Meetup which will be held on December 5 at two Sarasota County libraries.
Presenter Andrea Nierenberg will share practical networking and communication skills that can help a business attract and retain customers and clients, to positively impact profitability. Participants will learn about utilizing technology to build a network across the globe. Topics will include 7 Rules of Networking, 5 Every Day Drivers of Networking Success, and The Networking Tool Kit.
“The opposite of networking is NOT working,” Nierenberg says. “You can learn from, give something to or be a resource for every person you meet.”
Nierenberg is founder and president of Nierenburg Consulting Group and a SCORE mentor. The author of five business books, she has been quoted and featured in major national publications, including the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal, which described her as “a networking success story.” This leader in sales and marketing has worked with Saks Fifth Avenue, Avon Products, and Macmillan Publishing, and she has appeared on Time Warner’s Fortune Business Report and PBS/The Business Channel.
The program is sponsored by SCORE Manasota, Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources, and Sarasota County Economic Development. The speaker will be at Frances T. Bourne Jacaranda Public Library, 4143 Woodmere Park Blvd., Venice, and the presentation will be available via live feed at Selby Public Library, 1331 First St., Sarasota.
The Meetup is open to the public and offered free of charge, but registration is requested. Register to attend at either location at https://manasota.score.org.
