St. Petersburg, FL (November 2018) – Kick off the holidays with an all new Santa Parade and Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 24, as part of the St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department’s Holidays in the Sunshine City event.
Santa and Mayor Rick Kriseman light up the downtown waterfront with the annual Santa Parade and Tree Lighting. The all new illuminated night parade begins at 5:30 p.m. in Albert Whitted Park, 480 Bayshore Drive SE, to Fifth Ave. N. Then, at 8 p.m., Mayor Kriseman lights up the tree in North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Drive NE.
Stay after the Santa Parade and Tree Lighting to enjoy a night in the park with entertainment, children’s activities, music and more. Concessions will be available. Bring your blanket or lawn chair; seating is not provided. Admission is free and open to the public.
