Original Madeira Market Moves to Seminole- Market is the First of Its Kind for the City of Seminole |
SEMINOLE, FL: The SEMINOLE WEDNESDAY MARKET celebrated its opening day on November 7, 2018.
The original Mid-Week Madeira Beach Open Air Market, held for five Seasons on Madeira Way, moved to the City of Seminole this season due to construction on Madeira Way. And the Market community couldn’t be happier.
“We have an awesome location here at the Holland G Mangum Recreational Complex, complete with park-like facilities and a wonderful support network from the City of Seminole,” states Laura Garrison, Market Operations Manager for the Beach Markets. “Moving a highly successful Market after nearly five years is an enormous, expensive and difficult undertaking. Thanks to the City of Seminole and to the dedication of our incredible vending family, we were able to make this move in a very positive way.”
“The Seminole Market wasn’t just good on opening day, it was outstanding!” said Frank “Geezer” Hewlett, the Market’s musician. “I love everything about the new Market,” stated Deb Laramee, a customer and loyal Beach Markets supporter. “Lots to eat, veggies, arts and crafts. We are thrilled!”
Hours for the Seminole Wednesday Market are Wednesdays from 10am-2pm. The Market is scheduled to run every Wednesday, weather permitting, through the end of April.
The Seminole Wednesday Market is located on the grounds adjacent to the City of Seminole Recreation Center, 9100 113th St, Seminole. The Markets host local Vendors who offer everything from produce to fine art, is free of an admittance charge and is family friendly. Leashed pets are welcome.
