
Tampa, Fla. – November 5, 2018 – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Samantha M. Culp has joined the firm as an associate in its Tampa office. She is a member of the firm’s Real Property Litigation section.
Culp’s practice focuses on real property litigation, as well as products liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She is accomplished in all aspects of case management and client representation in both federal and state courts. She has handled hearings, mediations, and depositions, as well as document reviews, written discovery requests and responses, motions, pleadings, and arguments.
Additionally, Culp has experience in environmental and conservation law stemming from positions at the University of Florida Levin College of Law Conservation Clinic and the Conversation Trust for Florida.
Culp joins the firm after serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Julie S. Sneed of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where she assisted with managing cases related to substantive discriminatory employment, civil rights, intellectual property, class actions, foreclosures, social security, ERISA, insurance, and forfeiture legal issues. Previously, she practiced at the law firms of Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell P.A. and McDonald Toole Wiggins P.A.
Culp received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from the College of Charleston. She is a member of The Florida Bar.
