Gulfside Hospice & Pasco Palliative Care, Inc. “Gulfside” and Community Aging & Retirement Services, Inc. “CARES” have entered into a definitive agreement for Gulfside’s acquisition of certain assets of CARES’ Home Health Agency which will allow Gulfide to provide licensed home health agency services. The closing of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including obtaining approval for the transaction from the Florida Agency for Home Health Administration “AHCA”.

Community Aging & Retirement Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that provides services to seniors, caregivers and families in Pasco County. CARES coordinates a broad spectrum of solutions to help older adults face aging issues that may prevent them from living independently at home. CARES services and programs include: Daily living assistance such as homemaking and bath visits to help seniors stay independent; Adult Day Care programs to offer respite for caregivers; wellness programs that help older adults stay informed; and senior enrichment centers that help people stay connected through recreational activities and learning.
