Tampa abstract artist Mary Mirabal will be unveiling a solo exhibit on Art Night at Staybridge Suites in downtown St. Petersburg, FL on Tuesday, November 13 from 5:30 to 8 pm.
Mirabal is an award-winning contemporary artist known for her bold and exuberant contemporary abstract expressionist works of art. Santa Fe, NM is the epicenter of Mirabal’s inspiration. A passionate collector of Native American art for decades, her home is filled with treasures from her many visits to the desert southwest. Mary’s deep love for Santa Fe earned her an invitation to do live paintings at Acosta-Strong Fine Art during the 2018 Canyon Road Spring Art Festival. She spent two months painting plein air style in the courtyard of a charming, historic Santa Fe casita. While there she also secured artist representation at Turquoise Butterfly Gallery.
“I strive to create paintings that speak of the simple beauty existing in everyday life. My abstract art reflects the colors and emotions of the high desert of New Mexico. I find magic in its mountains and skies painted with highly saturated hues. This sacred place calls to my soul and opens a space for my art to be a true reflection of my free spirit and enthusiasm for life.”
Come out to meet Mary, and see her art while sipping wine and noshing on complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
