Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano Designates November as Pasco Friends of Animal Services Month

October 29, 2018 by Post

During the month of November Pasco Friends of Animal Services will be the featured charitable giving organization at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office. Pasco Friends of Animal Services is dedicated to enriching the lives of pets at the Pasco County Animal Shelter and improving the likelihood of adoption into loving homes. The primary focus of this campaign is build up the medical fund which will help enhance the health, welfare and environment of sheltered animals.

“A donation to our medical fund will go directly to saving lives of the animals brought to Pasco County Animal Services,” states Michael Cox, Advisor to the non-profit organization’s Board of Directors. “Animals that have been victims of abuse, injury or disease will receive life-saving treatment which will be their first step towards finding their forever home. Our all-volunteer board is dedicated to supporting the mission of saving 90% of all animals that come into our care. On behalf of the voiceless animals, THANK YOU!”

“As a lifelong dog lover I can attest to the love and joy a pet can bring into a person’s life,” states Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “Pasco Friends of Animal Services is unique in that it supplements funds designated by the county to “fill-in-the-gap” for medical and related treatments that these animals need to become healthy again. The ultimate goal is to prepare the potential pets for adoption so they can be brought into a loving home. I encourage anyone who is an animal lover to stop by one of our offices and make a donation to this campaign. You may also mail in your donation with your auto registration if you prefer. Thank you for considering supporting this excellent program.”
