Paula O’Neil, Ph.D., is delighted to welcome U.S. Army and local government veteran Jerome Jordan – also a Ph.D. – to the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller team.
Most recently a member of leadership for the Pinellas County Clerk & Comptroller, Dr. Jordan joins us as Director of Civil Courts, succeeding longtime chief Linda Dillon, who is scheduled to retire at the end of 2018.
“Jerome has dedicated his career to public service,” Dr. O’Neil says. “We are thrilled to be part of the next chapter of his professional life. We welcome him to our family.”
“I am really, really looking forward to joining the Pasco County Clerk’s Office,” Dr. Jordan says, “and to contributing in any way that I can in enhancing our services to citizens and customers.”
Dr. Jordan began his tenure with the Pinellas County Clerk & Comptroller in 1999, working in several departments and rising most recently to Probate Manager, all the while completing three university degrees: technology management (undergraduate), organizational management (master’s), and business administration (doctorate).
An Army veteran, Dr. Jordan served in the 18th Airborne Corps, the 25th Light Infantry Division, and the 3rd Infantry Division.
Married to his childhood sweetheart, the couple has – to quote the proud dad – “three beautiful daughters.”
“My management philosophy is simple,” Dr. Jordan says. “Treat employees well and they’ll accomplish amazing things.”
Dr. Jordan’s first day is Monday.
