
Watermark Retirement Communities promotes from within for Executive Director role
TAMPA, Fla. (Oct. 18, 2018) — The Watermark at Trinity, an assisted living and memory care community located in Pasco County, has hired David Schupack as Executive Director. Schupack joins the community from sister-property The Fountains at Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, where he’s served as Associate Executive Director for three years.
As Executive Director, Schupack will oversee daily operations of the community and maintain an engaging atmosphere for residents and their families.
“David brings with him many years of experience in the senior living profession, as well as a number of years with Watermark Retirement Communities,” said David Barnes, president and CEO of Watermark Retirement Communities. “In addition to his excellent background and strong leadership skills, he has a strong commitment to achieving high ratings in resident and associate satisfaction, which is our commitment at all Watermark communities.”
Schupack began his career with Watermark Retirement Communities as a dishwasher while he was in high school. After college, he ventured into the hospice and home care industry, most notably serving as a client services manager for Bayada Home Health Care. He then rejoined the ranks at Watermark Retirement Communities in 2014 at The Watermark at East Hill in Connecticut. He worked his way up from Business Office Support to Associate Executive Director at the community before relocating to St. Petersburg to serve as Associate Executive Director at The Fountains at Boca Ciega Bay.

Schupack earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare management from Springfield College. He is a Certified Dementia Practitioner®.
