Funeral For A Gangster
Inverness, FL Local theatrical company Two Pence Productions with the Legacy Star Theater, will be staging the interactive murder mystery show, Funeral For A Gangster, at the Legacy Star Theatre located at
2301 Carter St. Inverness, Florida.
It is 1928 Brooklyn and a tragedy has struck the feared Marzetti family.
The famed Mafioso, Vito “The Gut” Marzetti, was gunned down last week at his favorite Chinese eatery while enjoying his third order of Moo Goo Gai Pan.
Rumors persist that Angus “The Scott” MacDonald was seen fleeing the crime scene. MacDonald’s calling card, a bouquet of heather, was found near Marzetti’s bullet ridden body. Marzetti’s (much) younger wife was taken in for questioning and released. Federal agents have been called in to investigate the crime. Services are to be held at Ruby’s Place, the (speakeasy) coffeehouse run by Veto’s only daughter Ruby “Fingers” Marzetti. Ruby asked that mourners please bring cash and smokes in lieu of flowers. Ruby also plans to sing at some point during the service.
What kind of crud could commit such a heinous crime? There’s a whole slew of suspects: Vito’s young widow Lena Marzetti stands to inherit everything. His eldest son Joey “The Lump” Marzetti is primed to take the reins of the Marzetti clan but he seems to be rather hot-headed and has a reputation for violence. Plus, he’s not too bright.
It seems that the only one without a motive is Vito’s youngest son, Frankie. However, Frankie has seven other personalities and any one of them could be holding a grudge.
Can you find the weasel before he (or she) strikes again? Or is it open season on the Marzetti’s?
