Tips on “Integrating PR + Digital Marketing” at free Oct. 23 Success Strategies Meetup

October 15, 2018 by Post

“Integrating PR + Digital Marketing: From Awareness to Loyalty” is the focus of a free Success Strategies for Business Owners Meetup with a panel of subject area experts which will be held on October 23 at two Sarasota County libraries.

Attendees will learn how public relations and digital marketing can work together to support and strengthen business marketing efforts. Susan Hicks of PRecise Communications will share helpful information on growing awareness and demonstrating your expertise through effective use of public relations strategies. Kimberly McClure of White Studios will discuss using digital technology to build and sustain relationships with prospects and customers. Nick Choat, Digital Strategist, will talk about Social Proof – leveraging your online reputation to attract customers and develop customer loyalty. Hicks has been offering content development and PR services since opening her business in 2002; McClure provides digital marketing services for local and national corporations; and Choat, a former Disney digital strategist, currently owns two local Sports Clips Haircuts franchises and was recently honored with a Manatee Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award.

The program is sponsored by SCORE Manasota, Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources, and Sarasota County Economic Development. The speakers will be at Selby Public Library, 1331 First St., Sarasota, and the presentation will be available via live feed at Frances T. Bourne Jacaranda Public Library, 4143 Woodmere Park Blvd., Venice.

Dennis Zink, Manasota SCORE Chapter Chair, said, “We’re proud to offer these programs for local business owners through our partnership with Sarasota County Library System and Economic Development.”

The Meetup is open to the public and offered free of charge, but registration is requested. Register to attend at either location at https://manasota.score.org.
