TAMPA – Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce the addition of two associates to the firm’s Litigation Group, Dalton R. Allen and Travis J. Foels.
Mr. Allen’s practice involves the defense of product liability and mass tort claims. He primarily represents a major tobacco company in individual smoking and health litigation. Mr. Allen graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University College and upon graduation received the Suzanne Armstrong Memorial Award and the National Order of Scribes Award in the area of legal writing, and the Victor O. Wehle Award for excellence in trial advocacy. During law school, Mr. Allen served as Assistant Research Editor of the Stetson Law Review where he was awarded Stetson Law Review’s Leadership Award, competed as an advocate on Stetson’s #1 nationally ranked Trial Team, and earned Highest Grade Designations in many courses, including Contracts, Civil Procedure, Research & Writing, and Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Foels’ practice focuses on medical malpractice, hospital liability, products liability, and premises liability, along with a diverse array of personal injury claims. Mr. Foels graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Foels served as an Articles Editor for the Florida Law Review. His Note was selected for publication by the Florida Law Review, and won the Gertrude Brick Award for Best Note of 2017. He earned book awards in Appellate Advocacy, Legal Research, Electronic Discovery, Land Use Planning and Control, and Medical Malpractice.
