Pinellas County, Florida, October 15, 2018 – On October 19, 2018, Pinellas County Economic Development, partnering with the Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) and St. Petersburg College, will hold a Reverse Trade Fair at The Conference Center, St. Petersburg College, Seminole Campus. The Pinellas County Reverse Trade Show will provide an opportunity for local businesses to meet with Pinellas County department buyers, as well as purchasing agents from surrounding counties.
“This is an excellent opportunity for our small business community,” explains Dr. Cynthia Johnson, Director of the FSBDC at Pinellas County Economic Development. “Local government agencies make a wide variety of purchasing decisions, and this event allows small business owners and representatives to speak one-on-one with the people making those procurement decisions.”
The event will also include a debriefing on Pinellas County’s new Vendor Portal, where local businesses can learn about County purchasing needs and submit bids.
