Oak Hill Hospital Welcomes Dragomir Mijic, DO

Spring Hill, Florida (September 25, 2018) – Oak Hill Hospital welcomes Dragomir Mijic, DO, to its medical staff. Dr. Mijic specializes in shoulders, elbows and general orthopaedics with his practice located at 8281 S. Suncoast Boulevard, Homosassa, Florida 34446, call 352-597-2664 to schedule an appointment. Dr. Mijic completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He also completed his residency at Michigan State University-St. John Providence Health System Hospitals, Madison Heights, Michigan. Dr. Mijic received his medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dr. Mijic is a fellowship trained shoulder and elbow orthopaedic surgeon with advanced training in shoulder and elbow replacement and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery. He treats all types of orthopaedic injuries and degenerative conditions with a special emphasis in shoulder and elbow disorders including arthritis, rotator cuff tears, tendonitis, sports-related injuries, and fractures.

Dr. Mijic has been actively involved in advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery through orthopaedic research and education. He has authored multiple orthopaedic textbook chapters and journal articles and has presented research at several national meetings.
