SAVVY SENIORS COOKING SCHOOL COURSE
A 4-WEEK EXPLORATION IN FOOD, FLAVOR, & FUN
CLEARWATER, FL October 9, October 16, October 23, October 30, 2018 — Are you
interested in learning new and exciting cooking techniques and recipes? Are you an
occasional cook, looking to increase your skills and confidence in the kitchen to prepare
healthy, delicious meals for yourself or loved ones? Register now for the Aging &
Wellness Institute’s 4-week cooking course led by a registered dietitian nutritionist! The
course features a different kitchen topic, recipes, and food safety tips each week. All
ingredients and materials provided. $10 deposit requested at registration, however
participants will receive their $10 back at the end of the course if they attend at least 3
of the 4 classes. This program is made possible by a grant from Senior Citizens

The Aging & Wellness Institute (AWI) is a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity based in
Clearwater, FL. Founded in 2015, the mission of the organization is to provide nutrition,
exercise, and yoga programs to older adults (60+) in an effort to help them live a longer
life, a healthier life, and a pain-free life. Founded on the principles of over 25 years of
research by local physician and founder John P. Barrett, MD, AWI is committed to
improving the health outcomes of older adults.
