Art, Rhythm & Culture Festival Presents The Cosmic Guide Experience

September 13, 2018 by Post

A new first for the Suncoast Cultural community is on Friday September 21st, 2018. As the worlds of classical orchestra music and Hip-Hop join forces for a one night only event that is a multi-generational approach uniting the age groups of millennials to baby boomers. With the musical collaboration and assistance of The Pops Orchestra of Bradenton & Sarasota’s 65 piece ensemble at The Neel Performing Arts Center at State College of Florida located at 5840 26th St. West in Bradenton, Florida.

Musicians Ryanito & Michael Mendez will be performing Ryanito’s The Cosmic Guide LP with a live painting by Zulu Painter for the taping of a documentary to be distributed and released on Netflix in 2019.

The Cosmic Guide is a story about a man (Ryanito) at age 28 years old who realized his destiny was to guide people through the universe with his music. An album that was written in future tense about the premonitions that he foresaw. This compilation of songs from the cosmos will take you on a journey in a way that you’ve never experienced before.

Nas, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Sir-Mix-A-Lot are known as some of the greatest artists in Hip-Hop history. They all have something in common, they have fused Hip-Hop music with a classical orchestra. Ryanito is another name you can add to that list. Ryan “Ryanito” Larranaga resides in Sarasota, FL. He is known for curating Art, Rhythm and Culture Festival formerly Art, Rhymes and Beer with co-curator Marcel Bauduin. An event with live visual artists centered around positive musicians for a charitable cause. In addition the musician has an educational program Art, Rhymes and Kids in the public schools teaching students rhyming, alliteration and using Hip-Hop to captivate the children’s attention.

Ryanito’s signature voice with a ghostly presence and complex metaphors and positive lyrics accompanied by Michael Mendez, vocalist from The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. The event set for September 21st will break through the dense barriers of music and age in the region. Ryanito hopes to create commonalities between all people uniting them thorough his community work and music.
