Tarek Bakdash, MD offers comprehensive neurologic care from his office on the third floor of Watson Clinic Main located at 1600 Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland. Dr. Bakdash received his medical degree from the University of Aleppo in Aleppo, Syria. He completed a transitional internship from Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. He then went on to complete a residency in Neurology, and a Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship both from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Bakdash’s particular area of expertise is in the diagnosis and management of general neurologic issues, headaches and migraines, NCS (nerve conduction studies) and EMG (Electromyography) studies, and neuromuscular disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Florida Medical Association. He is board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology.
