Lakeland, FL – The Watson Clinic Foundation is pleased to announce their 2ndAnnual Healthy in Pink Social, an upcoming event devoted to breast cancer education and community empowerment.
“The response from last year’s inaugural event was overwhelmingly positive,” says Watson Clinic Foundation Program Coordinator Peggy Garrett. “Attendees can expect an evening of inspiring personal messages of hope and sound medical insights from highly trained cancer specialists.”
The centerpiece of the event will feature a performance from author, stand-up comedian, mother of five sons and a breast cancer survivor Tracy DeGraff, who will present her acclaimed and inspiring one-woman show “Life Happens Laugh Anyway.” Watson Clinic Women’s Center breast surgeon Dr. Elisabeth Dupont will emcee the festivities, which will also include an exciting door prize and substantial Hors d’oeuvres.
