Spring Hill, Florida – The Summerfried and Countrified Festival is bringing summer to a close with live music, fried chicken contests, and family games. Located in Hernando County, the festival will be held on Saturday, September 1st at Linda Pedersen Park in Spring Hill from 2 pm to 11 pm.
“This is going to be a huge event and a great way to wind down the summer,” says Skyler Clark, a featured performer.
Hailing from Thonotosassa, Clark will take the stage at 7 PM. In addition to original tracks from his EP, Skyler Clark, he’ll perform a mix of contemporary country and southern rock hits. Live music kicks off at 3 pm, with acts including Pirate Flag, a Kenny Chesney tribute band, JT Curtis, Will Erickson, The Bearded Brothers Band, and Chad Montana.
“Summerfried and Countrified is going to have some of the best country music and southern rock artists in Tampa Bay,” says Clark. “So, come for the music and stay for the fun.”
Festival activities range from shopping among the many vendor booths, a food court focused on “hand-picked, local, southern food trucks,” and a Kid’s Zone with games and a bounce house. Events include a Fried Chicken-eating Competition, Pie-eating contest, Corn hole, Trivia and Summer Olympics Contests.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch.
Linda Pedersen Park is located at 6400 Shoal Line Blvd, Spring Hill, FL, 34607.
