College lacrosse stars and brothers Matt and Rich Rambo put on a fantastic clinic for over 40 boys at the Wesley Chapel District Park this past weekend. Players from multiple teams throughout west central Florida attended the two day clinic.
While playing for Division I powerhouse Maryland, Matt Rambo received college Lacrosse’s most prestigious honor when he was named winner of the Tewaaraton award. Rambo’s clinic focused on the Attack and Midfield positons while helping players improve their: shooting, dodging, passing, use of body leverage, field knowledge and other important aspects of the game to make them the best player possible.
Matt and Rich finished the clinic with an engaging sideline chat stressing the importance of excelling in the classroom, being a positive teammate and other import life lessons that boys are more likely to absorb coming from the Rambo brothers rather than their parents-even though they are all saying the same thing!
The Wesley Chapel Athletic Association and Tribe Youth Sports put on the clinic with the Rambo brothers. Registration is open for these organizations for their the upcoming competitive season. Practices begin in mid September. For more information and registration contact lacrossecoacheric@gmail.com
