Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) announces a Martial Arts and Self-Defense course for health care professionals. The course is offered as a series of six two-hour classes held on Tuesdays, beginning October 9, 2018. Classes will be held at the PHSC West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road, in conference center R151 from 6 to 8 p.m. The total fee for the course is $72.
Martial Artist Master James Rivera will teach health care professionals how to protect themselves and safeguard their clients in the specialized course. Caregivers and community members are also encouraged to participate.
Course participants will learn the principles of martial arts and self-defense techniques to prevent injury and will receive 1.2 continuing education credits. To register, please call 727-816-3123 or email stroutk@phsc.edu.
