Brooksville, Florida (August 17, 2018) –Live Oak Theatre is pleased to announce that it is now offering two levels of classes in acting. Introduction to Acting for ages 8 through 18 cover basic elements of acting, terminology, proper movement, characterization, line expression, basic scene study, using humor, memorizing and delivering monologues and more. It is designed to prepare students for the conservatory’s acting class. Those who complete the course will be prepared to audition for stage and video film projects. The class is held on Saturdays from 10 am to 11 am.
Acting for ages 8 to 18 is offered to students who have already studied basic elements of acting. Students explore the art of acting through the study of various dramatic techniques including perfecting the monologue, theatrical movement, developing their character, perfecting the audition, understanding “sub-text,” scene study and analysis, perfecting humor, acting for commercials and much more. The class is held from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays.
Both acting classes are conducted by Vince Vanni who has been successfully teaching acting in Hernando County for over 25 years.
