The Leadership St. Pete® (LSP) Class of 2018 will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 29, 4:30-6:30pm, with words from St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Chris Steinocher. Mayor Kriseman along with the Leadership St. Pete® Class of 2018 graduates, the LSP planning committee of 2018, and the SailFuture residents and staff will be present.
Tours of the Leadership St. Pete® Class of 2018’s completed projects will occur during the celebration, including the newly constructed workshop and dock. Light refreshments will be served. The class will also take this opportunity to acknowledge all of the generous donations and support from the community.
“Now that the Class of 2018 has completed the construction of a workshop and dock to improve the educational facility at SailFuture, the work has only just begun. SailFuture is expanding and many of our class members will continue to work alongside the organization to help ensure a brighter future for some of our community’s most at-risk youth,” says Leadership St. Pete® Class of 2018 class member, Irena Karolak.
