Hearing Loss & Law Enforcement
There are many occasions when we may need to interact with law enforcement officers. Among the most frequent are being stopped while driving your vehicle. Do you know how to best communicate your hearing loss with the officer? Do you know what actions you should or should not take?
Sheriff Grady Judd will join us and share his thoughts on what training officers receive regarding hearing loss and how both parties can best communicate. Sheriff Judd will share other aspects of law enforcement and engage the group in discussion.
Everyone is welcome….our meetings are looped and captioned, so everyone can hear and understand. More about us at www.hla-lakeland.org
