Spring Hill, Florida (August 7, 2018) – Oak Hill Hospital will host a Congestive Heart Failure education series for those living with congestive heart failure (CHF). The meeting will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except holidays) on the Oak Hill Hospital campus in Administrative Conference Room 1 on the first floor of the South Tower. The first session will be held on Tuesday, August 28. The series will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will be hosted by Oak Hill Hospital’s Care Assure Patient Nurse Navigators Rebecca Voda, BSN, RN, CHFN (Certified Heart Failure Nurse) and Lisa Cierpka, BSN, RN, CCM (Certified Case Manager), CV-SHD (Cardiovascular Structural Heart Disease).
The monthly education series will help those who attend to gain a sense of empowerment and control through the education provided by these clinicians. Participants will reduce stress and anxiety by learning more about this chronic disease and they will be able to collaborate with others who have the same chronic condition. Above all they will also learn about resources that are available to them.
