Fenton was one of three professionals receiving honors during the three-day summit, which gathered some of the country’s top-performing real estate agents together for roundtable discussions, a presentation by industry veteran Jeff Meyers of Meyers Research and a keynote address from Taylor Morrison Chairman and CEO Sheryl Palmer.

Fenton, of Keller Williams Realty in St. Petersburg, was recognized with the Rookie Award for being the top-producing agent in her company last year.

“Kelly is an example of the terrific partnerships Taylor Morrison has with its local real estate communities,” said Graham Hughes, chief customer officer for Taylor Morrison. “The summit gave all of us a chance to reconnect with one another and learn of more about what the future holds for our industry.”

Along with Fenton, Phoenix real estate professional Steve Rider was recognized for his work in the Phoenix market with The Rider Elite Team and for mentoring a group of national licensees that teaches how to successfully market, sell and develop new leads. His team has sold more than 4,000 new homes in the past year for a sales volume of $1.2 billion.

Kiesha Curtis of Realty Kings Properties in Houston was recognized with the Community Leader Award for her tireless work in the Houston area including helping Hurricane Harvey victims register with FEMA in 2017, assisting with Avenue Community Development Corporation and FEMA, volunteering at WorkFaith Connection, teaching homebuying classes with Avenue Community Development Corporation and being elected to the Brazoria County Municipal Utility District 21 board.

Attendees were selected based on both sales and nomination criteria. In each Taylor Morrison division, the agent/broker who sold the most homes in the first five months of 2018 was chosen for the summit along with three special honorees who were nominated by their peers.
