ForCare Medical Group Breaks Ground on New State of the Art and First of Its Kind Medical Facility

TAMPA, FLORIDA – ForCare Medical Group celebrated the groundbreaking of its state of the art and first of its kind 30,000 square-foot medical facility located at 15402 North Florida Avenue in Tampa.

The new facility will treat multispecialty medical and conduct multispecialty clinical research trial at the site, including research for rare and currently untreatable conditions.

The ForCare Medical Center is projected to bring in millions of dollars of revenue that is originated from outside Hillsborough County and Florida. Once completed, the facility will employ over 100+ people. All the jobs are above minimum wage and many are technical in the medical field. Each of these employees will include 100% of health insurance premium paid by the employer and include a matched retirement fund.  The facility will also house an on-site gym and daycare for employees.

This new building and project is being spearheaded by Dr. Seth Forman. A locally raised Dermatologist who has authored articles including in the New England Journal of Medicine (https://www.nejm.org/doi/abstract/10.1056/NEJMoa1504370)

The physicians and providers at ForCare Medical Center will provide services for patients of all ages and offer a variety of services, including minor medical procedures, infusion suites, surgical suites, and overnight observation rooms for sophisticated (Phase 0 and Phase 1) clinical trials. The center will partner with a variety of pharmaceutical companies to conduct on-site medical trials under the supervision of medical staff.

Construction has begun and the facility is scheduled to open in January, 2019.

Dr. Seth Forman, graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, and completed his residency in a training program dedicated to dermatology and skin care at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Forman was selected and served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. Following that, he completed an advanced fellowship in dermatopathology at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.

Throughout his medical training, Dr. Forman was committed to academic pursuits. He has researched, studied and written peer-reviewed articles about various dermatological issues including Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Eczema, Atopic dermatitis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Alopecia Areata, Vitiligo, Rosacea, Nodulocystic Acne, Actinic Keratoses, Verruca Vulgaris melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, vascular tumors and other conditions.

Dr. Forman also is the primary author of two chapters in Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy, the leading reference textbook for dermatological therapeutics. He is a locally raised Dermatologist who has authored articles including in the New England Journal of Medicine (https://www.nejm.org/doi/abstract/10.1056/NEJMoa1504370)

He is a graduate of Hillel Academy (Class of ‘86) and The Berkeley Preparatory School (Class of ’90).  Dr. Forman currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hillel Academy and a member of Rays100.
