Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) is offering a course for childcare directors to become credentialed. The new course, Operation of an Early Childhood Center (NCP-0005) meets Florida Department of Children and Families requirements for the director credential, pursuant to section 402.305(2)(f), F.S.
Interested childcare workers can enroll now for the course, which will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:45–9:45 p.m., beginning August 20 through October 10, 2018 at the Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, 2727 Mansfield Blvd. A second course will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30–9:30 p.m., beginning October 16 through December 6, 2018 at the West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road.
The Operation of an Early Childhood Center course is T.E.A.C.H. scholarship eligible. To apply and learn more about the scholarship, visit teach-fl.org.
