Maintaining Business “Safety + Security” is the Focus for July 31 Success Strategies Meetup

(SARASOTA, Fla., July 19, 2018) A free Success Strategies for Business Owners Meetup will help online and brick-and-mortar business owners with advice on maintaining “Safety and Security.”

Manatee Sherriff’s Deputy Russell Younger will share strategies on keeping customers and employees safe in the workplace. An 18-year veteran with the sherriff’s office, following 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Younger has worked in the Crime Prevention Unit for the last 5 years.

Business Disaster Recovery Planning will be addressed by Bruno Kapacinskas, Business Resource Manager for the Manatee County Redevelopment & Economic Opportunity Department, Economic Development Division. Kapacinskas, who has experience in a family-owned business and a Fortune 500 company, serves as the county’s Emergency Support Function Coordinator for Industry and Business.

This free event is sponsored by SCORE Manasota, Manatee County Public Library Information Services, and Manatee County Economic Development Division. The Friends of the Central Library will serve refreshments.
The Meetup will be held from 11:30 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, July 31, at Manatee County Downtown Central Library, 1301 Barcarrota Blvd. West, Bradenton.
