The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department presents FREE Family Movie Night at Sims Park

New Port Richey, FL (July 17) – Saturday, July 21st, “UP” will be shown at Sims Park (6431 Bank Street) starting at 8:30PM.

Presented by The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department, “UP” is an animated comedy about Carl, a balloon salesman.  He fulfills his lifelong dream by tying thousands of balloon to his house and taking off on the adventure of a lifetime. But shortly after taking off, Carl discovers he has a stow away and the adventure really begins! Running time 1 hour 36 minutes.

The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department is proud to continue presenting FREE Family Movie Nights bringing movie lovers of all ages to the downtown’s focal point, beautiful Sims Park, and to enjoy a free movie in an outdoor setting.   Family friendly movies are shown monthly without cost to the audience so bring the entire extended family, chairs, blankets and be ready for an adventurous good time!  Snacks may be available for sale from local nonprofit organizations and everyone is welcome and encouraged to visit the New Port Richey downtown restaurants and shops before the movie starts!

The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department mission is to “Create memorable recreational, parks, and aquatic experiences to enhance the quality of life.” These City supported Free Family Movie Nights bring families downtown to experience quality entertainment in an open-air setting.  The City is committed to providing ongoing family friendly entertainment and experiences in the downtown arena with Free Family Movie Nights scheduled for Sims Park through the end of 2018.
