Major League Lacrosse star Matt Rambo will be hosting a two day clinic at the fantastic Wesley Chapel District Park located only minutes from Interstate 75. Having one of the all-time top lacrosse players in the Metro Tampa Bay area is a rare occurrence. Players from multiple teams throughout west central Florida are expected to be in attendance.
While playing for Division I powerhouse Maryland, Rambo received college Lacrosse’s most prestigious honor when he was named winner of the Tewaaraton award. Rambo’s clinic will focus on the Attack and Midfield positons while helping players improve their: shooting, dodging, passing, use of body leverage, field knowledge and other important aspects of the game to make them the best player possible.
The clinic will be held on August 18th and 19th and is ideal for boys aged 8 and older. The cost of the event is $120 per player. Space is limited so be sure to secure your spot today by emailing lcarossecoacheric@gmail.com
The Wesley Chapel Athletic Association and Tribe Youth Sports are the organizations that arranged the clinic. They will be hosting tryouts shortly for the upcoming competitive season. For more information and registration, visit https://www.wcaasports.org/
