SARASOTA COUNTY – It’s time to clean out the garage and gather discarded household items, appliances, junk, tree trimmings and other garbage as Sarasota County will hold a free community cleanup in Englewood from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, July 21.
Dumpsters will be available at the following locations:
- South McCall Road and 201 W. Dearborn Ave.
- The rear of the Elks Lodge at North Broadway Road and Englewood Heights Road.
- The Buchan Airport at Old Englewood Road
Hazardous materials, televisions, computers and other electronics, appliances and tires will be accepted at the South McCall Road location only. Auto parts will not be accepted at any location.
