2018 US Rowing Club Nationals

The Stewards Foundation to represent Tampa in the 2018 Club National Championship Regatta on The Cooper River in Camden, NJ.
The 2018 US Rowing Club National Championships will be held July 11-15, 2018, on the Cooper River in Camden, New Jersey.
The US Rowing Club National Championships, which feature racing in the under 17, under 19, intermediate, and elite/senior categories, have seen significant growth over the past several years and have become one of the largest summer regattas in the country. The 2018 event will break the organization’s all-time participation records consisting of 114 Rowing organization with 1,756 competitors competing over five days.
The Stewards will enter The U19 and U17 event categories which will be held Wednesday-Friday. The High-Performance squad consists of Reilly Goss, Carly Long, Griffin Mc Combs, Cristian Lopez and Charlie Cordero who have been performing multiple daily practices in the Florida heat in preparation for this event.
An added feature of this event is the Annual College Fair open to High School Rowers that all of the athletes will attend. According to Tom Feaster, President of The Stewards Foundation,” Several of our former athletes are currently on a Rowing Scholarship at some of the finest universities in the nation and have attributed Rowing on this national stage as an important ingredient in connecting with their future college coaches.”.
The Stewards Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (C) 3 charitable organization that uses the sport of Rowing as a vehicle to teach teamwork and responsibility to young people and provides a pathway for high school athletes to enhance their university opportunities as a result of successful participation.
